Rustica is a chain of restaurants found in various cities in Peru. In Iquitos it is located at 215 Tacna street. It is a large place with many tables and several sectors where you can enjoy delicious food. It opens at noon every day and you can have lunch, dinner or a snack. It is a great place that you can go with your family or friends.
The meals it offers are diverse, such as: grills, pizzas, pastas and traditional dishes from Peru. The aperitif that I usually order are tequeños. Usually they have ham and mozzarella cheese, but you can also have jerky, chorizo, shredded chicken, well, it depends on the type you choose; but what you cannot miss is the delicious avocado cream that accompanies them. The main dishes are sometimes accompanied by salads, potatoes, banana or yuca. Sadly they don't offer soups, but their salads are very good. My favorite main dish is the rustic steak because it has chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, ham, bacon, and French fries. It's not very healthy, but it's delicious! They don't really have a lot of desserts, but the types of menu includes a glass of ice cream, oh, and let's not forget the picarones. What it has in great variety are drinks: soft drinks, juices, liqueurs, etc. What I always order is a refreshing frozen lemonade.
